Then one of the things you will need to know to get a price of your new tyres and availability is the tyre size.
As you can imagine due to the massive differences between cars the size of tyres from car to car will vary. Also even on a certain model of car there will be a range of different tyre sizes that are fitted to that car so it is really important to physically check the tyre size and not just go off the registration number search. This is wrong at least 40 percent of the time!
Also worth mentioning is that some cars such as BMW, MERECEDES and AUDI in particular have what is referred to as “staggered” wheel and tyre combinations. This means that there are different size tyres fitted to the front and rear of the car. This normally means the rear tyres are wider than the front. It is important to make sure you give the tyre size for the exact tyre you want fitting which again is why it is important to go out and PHYSICALLY CHECK the tyre size already fitted.
Again if you are just to try and go with the details provided from the registration plate search then this will not always provide the correct tyre size for your vehicle, meaning when we arrive to fit your new tyres then they will not fit. This is then inconvenient for you and us as we will have to return the tyres ordered, and then source the correct tyre size and return at a later date.
